Anotace:
Main focus of this thesis is on the usage of foundry
simulation software Procast to solve optimization in
the real working process in the joint-stock company of
Zlievareň Zábrež a.s. application of this form of solution
points to its benefits in form of time and financial
savings. conducted simulations were mainly focused
on changes in gating system of a casting for ensuring
its proper solidification. Final result of the solution is a
design ensuring the casting production in quality demanded
by customers.
