Anotace:
The article describes methods which can be used in translation courses for upper-intermediary
level students at non-philological universities. It provides learning material to train
the application of polysemic expressions, compounds, participial constructions, complex
sentence constructions, phraseologies, alliteration, abbreviations, gender neutral language
and cultural realities. In the end tips and suggestions for translation lessons are presented.
