Anotace:
the contribution deals with mechanics and principles
of the preparation of a synthetic moulding mixture in
eddy/turbine mixers. It describes basic operations
and mechanisms that are involved in creating a binder
coating on sand grains and moulding mixture reviving.
Rheological properties of the binders, respectively of
the water-clay system are especially important. Reduction
of the dynamic viscosity of this material gives
to the mixture a higher fluidity, it facilitates the building
of binder bridges connecting the grains and it leads to
an increase of the mixture strength after compaction
in the mould.
