Medzinárodná intelektuálna spolupráca a popularizácia vedy na zvýšenie environmentálneho vedomia a osvety trvalo udržateľného rozvoja

Anotace: The support for results of science and research is one of preconditions for information society development. This worldwide phenomenon, that is why UNESCO supports the international intellectual co-operation as well as the dialogue between educational/research institution and society. UNESCO Chair for sustainable development and ecological awareness at Technical University in TUZVO is a member of a special programme of UNESCO called “UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Programme“. The Chair’s mission is to serve as think-tanks and bridge builders between academia, civil society, local communities, research and policy-making. In this context we present the Chair’s activities to demonstrate the intellectual cooperation and science promotion in order to enhance both the ecological awareness and sustainable development.
