The article describes, analyses and compares teaching of Basque and teaching in Basque in
Basque Autonomous Community, in Chartered Community of Navarre and in Basque Municipal
Community in France. The school plays the most important role in the revitalization of Basque,
and without its active contribution, it is not possible to restore bilingualism in the Basque Country.
