output. The thing is that there are many
external and internal influences entering
the process, which we are able to take into
account fully, par tially or which can not be
considered at all in technical preparation
of manufacture. Determination of mechanical
proper ties of cast material, respectively directly
castings, represents quite a specific field.
The aim of this ar ticle is to summarize these
issues, to clarify terms and to outline the
possibilities of determination of mechanical
proper ties values of castings.
