Anotace:
The contribution lists a literary overview
about modification of Al-Si alloys. In the
introductory chapters it deals with the
principle of modification of the eutectics,
the change in the ability of crystallization
of the Al-Si eutectics, influencing the
morphology of the silicium eutectics in Al-Si
alloys, reduction of stress between phases in
the Al-Si-Cu alloys and limiting the growth
of eutectic silicium. Then the information
about sodium, strontium and the relation
to antimony is given and the experience with
porosity during modification, the modification
of wheel disks with strontium and negative
effects of phosphorus or excessive doses
of sodium and strontium on modification
are described.
