Anotace:
Magnesium alloy FeSiMg(RE) is commonly used for the
modification processing of the melt for the production
of spheroidal graphite cast iron. the work was aimed
at verification of the possibility to use for this purpose
a cheaper ingredient consisting of the FeSiMg(RE)
mixture. Experimental works made in the foundry of
BESKYD spol. s r.o. (Ltd.) have pointed out not only
the possibility but also the suitability to carry out the
modification processing of the cast iron by injection of
a wire filled with the FeSiMg(RE) mixture.
