Anotace: The EU pilot project of Environmental Technology Verification (EU ETV) has now ended, and the question is, what next? The Czech Environment Management Center participated in this project as a Verification Body and raised the unsatisfactory conditions in the Czech Republic for implementing ETV. The Czech Environment Management Center (CEMC) believes in using ETV methodology to support innovation projects and export technology in the international markets. The CEMC now offers possible methods that ETV can use to improve the quality of the grants programme. Whether the full potential of the ETV is used depends on future conditions at the EU level and on the providence of national authorities.
