the contribution is aimed at using the knowledge from the
PRoJEctS in the area of finishing the castings. It describes
a method that results from the application of technical and
motivational measures which together with the application of
ancillary equipment has brought to the foundry the savings
of more than 700,000 cZK a year. Implementation of the ancillary
equipment and its effective use is described in details.
Possibilities offered by the ancillary equipment for the effective
managing of the foundry are described in details.
