Bibliographic review of the literature on business innovation, funding, and policy framework

Anotace: The study is a bibliographic coupling and citation review of publications on innovation; it's financing, and policy framework from a business viewpoint. The study reviewed documents for the period between 1990 and February 2019 retrieved from the Web of Science core collection database. The study employed the Vosviewer tool to analyse extracted publications. The 13 clusters of reviewed articles are themed and further grouped into four main categories. Equally, essential publications based on citation are singled out and a summary of the same present. Most of the document or collaborative publications are from developed economies, a few from part of Asia such as China and Taiwan. However, other parts of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East had a minimal impact. The study aims at painting a picture of the current situation on the subject and stimulating further studies by scholars.
