Chrome-nickel heat-resistant steels and alloys found
their application primarily in the petrochemical industry
and in the energy sector. They play an important role in
the construction of gas turbines and turbines of aircraft
engines. Components and furnace accessories for heat
treatment of steels are also produced of them. This
article is aimed at describing some aspects of the
production particularly of such heat-resistant steels and
alloys which are currently used in the petrochemical
