Anotace:
Species Occurrence Database is an official instrument run by Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic to
fulfil the duties in species surveillance. Besides that, it has a wide spectrum of uses and applications, including several
public sources, which could be useful also for the educational purposes. Among those, Species Map-sites are especially
worth mentioning. These sites interpret the data of the database into information-rich species grid maps, which are also
comparable on the same site with the published sources or paralleled with the time distribution of records as phenological
diagrams
