Anotace:
The paper analyses lexical collocations of economic French. Their knowledge is essential
for strengthening communicative competences of non-Francophone speakers in the
given professional fi eld, particularly from the view of productivity. These collocations are
mostly more or less fi xed syntagmatic word partnerships, whose syntagmatic combinatorial
analysis is connected with lexical and semantic and syntactic ability of word partners
to combine and their obligatory or preferential usage, which makes effective professional
communication in a foreign language possible. The paper also analyses common collocations
from a contrastive view and points at tricky linguistic and intercultural interference
between Czech and French.
