Anotace: The goal of the present applied raw material policy is to provide effective using of the domestic raw material base with regard to

industrial, energetic, environmental policy, and local planning. The Slovakian raw material industry is in a breakthrough situation.
Therefore, there is a task for all society to give vast effort to provide that also Slovakian raw material policy would begin to grow. In the
presented contribution we search raw material policy in Slovakia from the systematic view, analyzing individual elements of the system -
relations with supplier-consumer, legislative, property, personal, economic, political and other relations in the frame of the system, as well
as relations with its surroundings. We made a model of new raw material policy that defines systematically and objectively conditions, goals,
and measurements and tools for filling of these goals with the aim to revitalize Slovakian raw material policy. Such a model could provide
sustainability of the mining industry in the country.
