This article presents a study of the statistics concerning foreign language learning (English, German, French, Russian or Spanish) in the elementary and high
school system. The aim is to show the distribution of foreign language learning
in the Czech Republic by school type and region. Firstly, we will present the evolution of the distribution of foreign language learning in the Czech school system,
then we will look more speci昀cally at elementary and at secondary schools.
