Anotace: The socio-media advance and the impact of new technologies require a shift in pedagogy that must be configured in accordance with new contexts and needs. From an academic framework, multiple activities can be carried out to support the development of skills that enable understanding of the current context and train citizens to interact. An example is the data presented below that arises from an activity put into practice during several years in Lugo: The Reader Project. Its implementation and the use of new technologies is conceived as the basis for a critical attitude development. Ability whose scope is determined by the level of skills acquisition and its constant increase. An initiative that from a different perspective has been launched in the Latin American context, specifically in Ecuador and recently in Colombia.
