Implementation of BIM in building construction estimating

Anotace: This article deals with the cost estimating of building constructions in BIM 5D. First, the main features of BIM 5D such as Autodesk Revit1 (BIM modelling software), DESK building library, BIM DEKSOFT, or budgeting software KROS 4 are introduced and further described. Then, the article analysis a BIM model based on an architectural plan of a family house. The main aim of this article is to compare a budget of the family house generated budget by BIM 5D with a budget prepared by the authors. Chiefly, the article focuses on the differences in schedule of works, bill of quantities, and costs.
